About your team

Responsibilities

  • Delivery of the Smart Apprenticeship programme, ensuring employees demonstrate competence across all aspects of the SEE role.
  • Training and assessment for Smart Energy Engineers on ACS, MOCoPA and all mandatory job‑role requirements.
  • Delivery of full training schemes, programmes and award schemes, including timely completion of documentation and review requirements.
  • Liaise with the Delivery Team Manager and Academy teams to ensure the apprenticeship programme is delivered on time and on budget.
  • Provide LEDMs with relevant SEE knowledge and field experience to enable apprentices to transition into the SEE role.
  • Build effective relationships with key stakeholders across Centrica to enhance the profile of SMART and ensure quality delivery of consistent apprentice and Smart Energy Engineer programmes.
  • Ensure HSE and legal conformance and actively promote safety performance.
  • Manage and escalate operational and regulatory risks as appropriate.
  • Ensure adequate resources, including contingency arrangements, are in place to deliver learning that meets employee and business needs.
  • Maintain awareness of good delivery and facilitation practices and advancements to apply to learning activities across Centrica.
  • Adhere to all delivery and facilitation procedures to promote a fair culture for learners.
  • Review learning evaluations and act on feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to share knowledge and skills across delivery teams and the wider Learning & Development function globally.

Qualifications

  • Current CMA1/MET1 and MOCOPA certifications.
  • Experience in learning delivery, training and assessment for technical roles.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements in the energy sector.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
