At British Gas Business we are embarking on a large scale, multi – year transformation programme to underpin the delivery of our strategic objectives.
About your role:
Our new team of Transformation Portfolio Analysts will play a crucial role in supporting the Transformation Integration Manager with overseeing and coordinating our strategic transformation. This team is the backbone of our evolution, ensuring that all parts of the BGB Transformation Programme are aligned and moving towards our strategic objectives. They will work closely with the PMO, Transformation Leaders and our stakeholders to understand their needs, manage expectations and foster collaboration.
***This role is a hybrid working role with our preferred location being Leicester or Windsor with required occasional travel across other sites***
Here\’s what we’re looking for:

Providing Strategic Alignment: Supporting the PMO with impact assessing change requests and new submissions to the transformation plan, ensuring that they align with BGB’s vision and strategy. Providing a prioritised, accurate and coherent output that can support in decision making and ensure change processes are run efficiently.

Governance and Decision-Making: Managing the processes, creating the artefacts and implementing the frameworks that underpin the new BGB Design Authority and the BGB Transition Authority both internally and with external partners. This also involves working closely with the CX team on the maintenance and governance of the overall backlog of proposed customer journey improvements.

Planning and Management: Documenting and maintaining the BGB Transformation roadmap that outlines the vision, goals, and milestones of the BGB Transformation for the short, medium and long term. This includes timeline management and tracking key performance indicators to monitor progress and provide insight.

Risk and Issue Management: Identifying, documenting, assessing, and managing key risks and issues that may arise. Ensuring that potential obstacles are addressed promptly to keep BGB’s transformation on track. Also managing and documenting dependencies across CX, Technology and the Transformation Team to ensure synchronisation.

Communication and Change Management: Supporting with the creation of engagement materials, plans and channels to ensure that all our stakeholders are kept informed and stay advocates. This includes facilitating forums, meetings and workshops, documenting and sharing outputs, tracking them through to completion.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Alongside the PMO team, reporting and analysing progress of overall transformation activity. This includes value tracking, supporting with RAID management and governance activities such as producing artefacts, reports and recommendations that aid stakeholders in decision making etc.

Tools: Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite, Azure Dev Ops (or equivalent tooling).

Experience in creating and maintaining relevant artefacts.

Experience in a Governance and rigour driven environment.

Experience in different project methodologies (agile, waterfall etc).
