About your role: As a Solar PV Engineer, you’ll take on a vital role in maintaining and optimizing large‑scale commercial solar projects. Your expertise will ensure our solar PV systems operate safely, meet the highest industry standards, and comply with all current regulations. This role isn’t just about keeping systems running—it’s about making a real impact on the future of renewable energy. You’ll travel across the country, bringing your skills to diverse projects and ensuring they’re delivered efficiently and on time. Main Responsibilities:
- Inspect, maintain, and repair solar PV systems on commercial sites.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven experience with solar PV systems (we would be willing to consider a domestic electrician with a high level of experience and train to our standards).
- Strong electrical engineering background.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional results.
- Flexibility to work away from home as business demand dictates.
Qualifications Required:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation & AM2
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- CSCS / ECS Gold Card Holder
- C&G 2394/2395 (or 2391 / equivalent) Inspection & Testing - initial verification & periodic inspection would be desirable.
