We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst. Within this role you will be responsible for using Endur package and integrations to drive system design, implementation and improvements for function and workflows.
How we work: We embrace 'flexible first' as our guiding principle for flexible and hybrid working, which balances work, the team, and the individual need for flexibility. This role is based out of our London office, close to Marble Arch, with the team typically coming in 3 days per week. There will also be an occasional requirement to travel to our Denmark offices (Aalborg and Copenhagen).
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Demonstrate success managing digital solutions in the ETRM space from ideation to launch, including engineering and operational quality.
- Articulate technology-based solutions, present in new business situations and workshops, and sometimes navigate complex client situations.
- Be the first point of contact to identify, manage and resolve requirement questions, dependencies, issues, and risks with the onshore and offshore team and business.
- Provide front line technical support to end-users responding to issues related to Problem/Incident Management, Release/Deployment, Operational Readiness, Application Monitoring, Production Governance related to issues.
- Prioritise competing demands and obtain buy-in from stakeholders.
- Delivery of complex business and technology solutions, from solution design to end-to-end system implementation, in the ETRM space.
- Develop and implement methodologies that maximise the flow of value and are deeply rooted in Agile, Lean, and continuous delivery principles.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve communication, team engagement, and coordination around incident management and to reduce the business impact.
The Person:
- Understanding of end to end processes in the physical commodity, trading, or similar (financial services, investment banking) industry.
- Strong understanding of OpenLink Endur platform and experience in using OpenLink development tools – either JVS or OpenComponents (JAVA).
- Ability to troubleshoot, support and maintain Endur instance.
- Ability to create custom WebApps or interfaces to the ETRM system.
- Good understanding of programming languages like Python and C++.
- Good database development either using Oracle PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of DMS, Crystal Report, REST API, Apache Kafka, Apache Tomcat, etc technologies.
- Knowledge of trading, STP, Risk and Operations process.
- Good analytical skills – able to investigate, analyse and troubleshoot tasks.
- Capacity to work autonomously and to communicate with the different stakeholders of the project.
- Able to perform various phases of SDLC where essential – analysis, coding, review, testing, documentation, implementation and release management, along with any troubleshooting/investigation/support task.
- Ability and desire to work in a fast moving trading environment to help the ETRM landscape get ahead of industry benchmarks.
