The Construction Document Controller is responsible for managing and maintaining all documentation related to construction projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely distribution to stakeholders. This role underpins effective governance and enables seamless collaboration across internal teams and external contractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and control all construction-related documentation (e.g., drawings, specifications, permits) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely access for project teams and contractors.
  • Implement and monitor document version control processes across all project documentation to maintain governance and prevent errors.
  • Coordinate the distribution of documents to internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to support efficient delivery and informed decision-making.
  • Track and report on documentation status and progress to the Project Controls team, highlighting delays or risks for proactive resolution.
  • Ensure proper archiving and retrieval of documentation in line with company standards and regulatory requirements to support audits and quality checks.

  • Collaborate with construction managers and planners to ensure documentation aligns with schedules, milestones, and delivery deadlines.
