In the Procurement Team, we are responsible for purchasing goods and services for the wider business. With major partners and industry leaders at the heart of our supplier portfolio our Procurement Teams offer you the opportunity to shape your career in a dynamic, high impact environment. We're excited about the future - because we're central to driving value, innovation and sustainability across the business and we're committed to being more agile, strategic and collaborative than ever before.
Over your Internship, you'll gain hands-on experience in how we source, manage, and partner with suppliers to deliver value, drive innovation, and support the energy transition. You could be involved in anything from negotiating contracts and managing supplier performance, to driving sustainability initiatives, supporting digital transformations and delivering cost-saving projects. We will work with you to develop proficiency in project management, negotiation, contractual knowledge, commercial deals, communication and strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
At Centrica, we believe face-to-face collaboration is key to making the most of your internship. While we support flexible working across the business, our summer interns are based full-time, predominantly in our London/Berkshire office to maximise learning, connection, and development.

- Expecting a minimum 2:1 degree (2:2 if combined with a Masters).
- If required, able to travel and stay away from home during your internship - flexibility is key to making the most of your experience!
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- Available to start the 9 week scheme from 16th June 2026.
Here's what's in it for you
- You'll be paid a salary of £24,000 (pro rata).
- Accommodation will be provided for the duration of your internship if required.
