We’re so much more than an energy company. We’re a family of brands revolutionising how we power the planet. We're energisers. One team of 21,000 colleagues that's energising a greener, fairer future by creating an energy system that doesn’t rely on fossil fuels whilst living our powerful commitment to igniting positive change in our communities. Here, you can find more purpose, more passion, and more potential. That’s why working here is #MoreThanACareer. We do energy differently - we do it all. We make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it.

About your team: At British Gas, our mission is to sell it and mend it. We’ve been powering the UK’s homes and businesses for over 200 years – but supplying energy is just part of what we do. We’re making the UK greener and more energy efficient, getting closer to Net Zero. By using clever tech like thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels and EV chargers, we’re making it cheaper and easier for our customers to reduce their carbon-footprint.

Overview We’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help drive growth across British Gas Services. You’ll work across a broad range of products—from HomeCare and repairs to boiler installs and newer areas like air conditioning—delivering marketing that makes a clear commercial impact. In this role, you’ll work across multiple campaigns and initiatives, collaborating with colleagues across the business to bring activity to life. This is a hands-on opportunity where you’ll shape campaigns, test ideas and play a key role in a fast-paced, commercial environment. If you enjoy getting stuck in, working at pace and delivering high-quality marketing, this could be a great fit.

About the role In this role, you will:

  • Deliver go-to-market campaigns across British Gas Services to drive commercial growth
  • Work across a matrix organisation to create and deliver integrated marketing campaigns
  • Lead customer acquisition activity, including test and learn initiatives
  • Manage end-to-end campaign delivery, bringing together teams across campaigns, performance marketing, digital, PR and customer engagement
  • Play an active role in trading and commercial forums, positioning marketing as a key growth driver
  • Lead test and learn activity across direct channels to reduce reliance on paid media
  • Support partnership marketing activity with key partners such as Currys and Costco

What We’re Looking For You’ll bring strong marketing communications experience and a track record of delivering campaigns in a commercial environment. You’re organised, detail-focused and confident taking activity from brief through to execution. You will:

  • Have experience in B2C marketing roles
  • Take a structured, delivery-focused approach to managing campaigns
  • Be comfortable delivering independently while collaborating across teams
  • Navigate and deliver effectively in a matrix environment
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies
  • Bring a high level of attention to detail and focus on quality

You’ll take ownership, stay organised under pressure and focus on delivering campaigns that drive real business results.

Why should you apply? We’re not a perfect place – but we’re a people place. Our priority is supporting all of the different realities our people face. Life is about so much more than work. We get it. That’s why we’ve designed our total rewards to give you the flexibility to choose what you need, when you need it, making sure that you and your family are supported not only financially, but physically and emotionally too.

If you're full of energy, fired up about sustainability, and ready to craft not only a better tomorrow, but a better you, then come and find your purpose in a team where your voice matters, your growth is non-negotiable, and your ambitions are our priority.
