We’re so much more than an energy company. We’re a family of brands revolutionising how we power the planet. We're energisers. One team of 21,000 colleagues that's energising a greener, fairer future by creating an energy system that doesn’t rely on fossil fuels whilst living our powerful commitment to igniting positive change in our communities. Here, you can find more purpose, more passion, and more potential. That’s why working here is #MoreThanACareer. We do energy differently - we do it all. We make it, store it, move it, sell it, and mend it.

At British Gas, our mission is to sell it and mend it. We’ve been powering the UK’s homes and businesses for over 200 years – but supplying energy is just part of what we do. We’re making the UK greener and more energy efficient, getting closer to Net Zero. By using clever tech like thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels and EV chargers, we’re making it cheaper and easier for our customers to reduce their carbon-footprint.

We’re looking for a Partnerships Marketing Lead to drive growth through strategic partner relationships across British Gas Services. You’ll lead how we show up with partners such as Currys, Costco, Panasonic and Amazon, while shaping our approach to new opportunities. From early conversations to live campaigns and ongoing activity, you’ll own partnerships marketing end-to-end, ensuring everything delivers clear commercial impact. Working closely with our Services Partnerships team and colleagues across Centrica, you’ll bring marketing into the heart of every partnership. This is a hands-on role where you’ll shape strategy, deliver campaigns and help establish our position in the market. If you enjoy working at pace, testing new ideas and building something with real growth potential, this could be a great fit.

In this role, you will:

  • Own and deliver the partnerships marketing strategy across partner channels and routes to market
  • Work with the Services Partnerships team to position marketing as a driver of partnership growth
  • Develop and execute campaigns with clear KPIs and measurable outcomes
  • Build high-impact co-marketing plans that drive performance for British Gas and our partners
  • Ensure strong and consistent British Gas presence across partner and owned channels
  • Act as a brand champion across all partnerships
  • Support onboarding of new partners, bringing a marketing perspective from the outset

You’ll bring strong experience in partnerships or B2B/B2B2C marketing (this could be from retail, finance, telco etc), with a track record of delivering growth and leadership. You’re comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on delivery and understand how marketing drives commercial results. You will:

  • Build effective relationships across retailers, OEMs, installers and B2B clients
  • Think strategically while delivering impactful campaigns
  • Bring strong commercial awareness, including ROI and performance models such as CPS and CPL
  • Navigate and deliver in a matrix environment
  • Use data to inform decisions and optimise performance
  • Demonstrate clear impact through previous work
  • Be confident using marketing tools across campaigns, media, digital and creative

You’ll take ownership, move at pace and stay focused on outcomes—always looking for ways to improve and drive growth.

We’re not a perfect place – but we’re a people place. Our priority is supporting all of the different realities our people face. Life is about so much more than work. We get it. That’s why we’ve designed our total rewards to give you the flexibility to choose what you need, when you need it, making sure that you and your family are supported not only financially, but physically and emotionally too.

We’re looking for people to add to our culture – not fit in with it. We're building a community where you can be unapologetically you, where differences are celebrated, and where everyone can belong. Real inclusivity also means supporting the different realities our people face. That’s why we have the UK’s best Carers Policy and are continually building our approach to flexibility and wellbeing. Of course, we love having fun too. We’re a people place after all.
