About your team: At Centrica Energy Storage, our mission is to store it. Our onshore and offshore teams are united in their goal, to boost the UK’s energy security and drive down bills for customers. Rough, our North Sea storage facility, currently provides half of the UK’s gas storage – enough to heat 2.4 million homes over winter. But we’re not stopping there. We’ve got our sights set on transforming it into the world's largest hydrogen storage facility and creating a Net Zero connected energy hub in the Humber.

We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join our Business Assurance team as a Business Assurance Apprentice. This role combines hands‑on workplace experience with a fully funded Level 4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship, giving you the chance to build practical skills while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

- Apprentice duration: 18 months
- Basic salary: £26,500
- Start Date: Beginning of September 2026
About the Opportunity: You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of business activities, including governance, reporting, data analysis, project support, process improvement, knowledge management and business change. You’ll also develop transferable skills that are highly valued across many industries, helping you build a strong foundation for your future career.
Working within our Centre of Excellence, you will:
- Help coordinate and improve business processes
- Support reporting, dashboards and performance monitoring
- Assist with project and governance activities
- Maintain business documentation and knowledge records
- Work with stakeholders across different functions
- Analyse data and identify improvement opportunities
- Support business change and transformation initiatives
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects.
