Senior technology leader responsible for shaping and guiding the architectural vision across our Infrastructure business. This role sits at the heart of a product‑led technology organisation, ensuring that our systems and platforms support current business needs and are built to scale and evolve with future demands. You’ll be the strategic mind behind long‑term technology roadmaps, aligning them with enterprise architecture and the wider technology strategy.

Location: UK‑based hybrid role, typically requiring 1 to 2 days in the office per month, or as needed.

Day to Day:

  • Develop and maintain a multi‑year architectural roadmap for infrastructure technology, aligning with enterprise strategy and identifying opportunities for innovation and simplification.
  • Enforce architecture standards and governance across product‑led teams, ensuring best practices in system design, integration and compliance.
  • Translate business initiatives into clear architectural impacts – supporting budgeting, resource planning and long‑term investment decisions.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and trends, recommending new tools and approaches that offer competitive advantage and align with strategic goals.
  • Support financial forecasting by helping teams plan technology spend and capacity based on architectural changes and system evolution.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams, lead a small architecture team, and foster a culture of excellence, mentorship and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in enterprise architecture, with a strong track record of delivering complex systems across diverse technologies, including SaaS.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure and power domains, with hands‑on experience designing architecture for infrastructure systems.
  • Familiarity with agile, product‑led environments and the ability to align architecture with evolving product roadmaps in cross‑functional teams.
  • A creative and pragmatic problem‑solver, comfortable navigating ambiguity and balancing innovation with stability in a fast‑paced setting.
