About your team: At British Gas, our mission is to sell it and mend it. We’ve been powering the UK’s homes and businesses for over 200 years – but supplying energy is just part of what we do. We’re making the UK greener and more energy efficient, getting closer to Net Zero. By using clever tech like thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels and EV chargers, we’re making it cheaper and easier for our customers to reduce their carbon footprint.

Key Accountabilities

  • Working closely with our Services business to manage service issue escalations and customer experience; this role is key in providing inputs for monthly and quarterly business reviews with partners.
  • Working to deliver plans that meet defined targets on a weekly basis, this high-energy role requires persistent and persuasive interaction with partners, proven sales and relationship building skills, ability to negotiate, and strong communication skills.
  • A self-motivated individual, able to be resilient when faced with obstacles.
  • Managing key stakeholders, both internal and external, to deliver the best service for our customers and partners.
  • Working with cross functional teams to deliver against a key set of performance metrics.
  • Directly accountable for partner performance reporting, to ensure we are operating compliantly and in-line with contract terms.
  • Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) with EV partners to drive growth.
  • Provide insight and analysis to improve EV Partner sales and installations.
  • Manage relationships with key business stakeholders and senior management ensuring sign off on key plans.
  • Keep abreast of partner developments (across leadership, technology, platforms, and channels).
  • Operate in a customer focused culture, ensuring customers are treated fairly and properly.
  • You will be the day-to-day point of contact for any partner order queries, supporting the EV Partnership Management team.
  • You will work within any regulatory frameworks (specifically FCA and OFGEM), to ensure all 3rd party relationships are fully compliant, as well as always providing adequate oversight.
  • Support other activities as required to enable the effective delivery of Partnership Management objectives.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills to operate successfully across the matrix organisation.
  • Highly numerate with good accuracy, attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Experience of working across a wide group of stakeholders.
  • Thorough understanding of what great customer service looks like for our customers and our people.
  • Identifies and builds key relationships quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise documents and analysis using PowerPoint and Excel to facilitate comprehension and clear decision making.
  • Performs effectively when faced with time pressures, adversity, disappointment, or opposition.
  • Displays an ongoing commitment to learning and self-improvement.
