Are you an experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Engineer looking for consistent, well‐paid contract work? PH Jones, part of British Gas, is expanding its contractor network and we’re looking for skilled engineers to join our Smart programme. Could this be your next contract?

You’ll be installing SMET2 gas and electric meters, delivering a safe, compliant service while representing a trusted national brand.
Day to day you will:
- Install dual fuel smart meters (SMET2)
- Carry out safety checks on gas appliances and electrical systems
- Diagnose and resolve faults using digital tools and technical support
- Provide clear advice to customers on energy use and efficiency
What do you need:
- Proven dual fuel metering experience (ideally 1+ year)
- CCN1 or CMA1 and MET1 qualifications
- MOCOPA / Smart Metering qualification (preferred, not essential)
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
- Comfortable using handheld tech
- LTD company status – if not currently held, we can discuss alternative engagement options.
