About your role: We are looking for a Commercial Operations Analyst to ensure all front office operational activities required to support the trading desks are executed accurately and efficiently within the defined timescales so that traders have a real time, accurate view of their trading positions enabling robust PnL reporting. This is a 12-month FTC opportunity.

Location: The role is based out of our central London office (close to Marble Arch) with 3 days per week based within the office. There is also a requirement for occasional international travel to other Centrica Energy offices.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • To operate the defined processes and appropriate controls to enable trades to be executed and booked in the relevant ETRMs, ensuring timeliness, validity and accuracy.
  • Trade Lifecycle SME for all traded products, keeping up to date with systems, exchanges and rules so that Traders compliantly operate within the markets.
  • To proactively respond to and resolve trade lifecycle issues and queries to ensure a seamless process and provide intraday resolution.
  • To drive improvements and support the implementation of automated solutions in operational support activities to ensure that the team is constantly improving to deliver required efficiencies.

Here's what we’re looking for:

  • To have worked in a Trading or other fast paced high delivery/high accuracy systems/deadline driven environment.
  • Ability to manage disparate problems simultaneously in a highly pressurised real-time trading environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of all aspects of trade lifecycle.
  • Previous Endur experience / knowledge.
  • Strong delivery, compliance, accuracy.
