This is your chance to kickstart a career that powers homes, energises communities, and lights up lives. As an Apprentice Electrician, you won’t just learn the ropes – you’ll master them. From day one, you’ll be absorbing knowledge, sharpening your skills, and working toward becoming a fully qualified Domestic Electrician – a true household hero.
Don’t be fooled, this isn’t your average gig; it’s boots on the ground, tools in hand, and learning by doing. You’ll get stuck in, get your hands dirty, and grow into a role that’s as rewarding as it is essential. If you’ve got the spark, we’ve got the switch!
We’re looking for:
- 4 GCSEs, ideally including Maths & English, at grade C/4 or above or a recognised equivalent.
- A genuine passion for learning a trade & striving for a successful career whilst working to the highest levels of safety.
- A full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.
- Availability to attend your training course, with provided accommodation and travel if needed (training is hosted by Trade Skills 4U in predetermined locations in England).
- Customer‑first mindset – you’ll listen, understand, and offer energy‑saving solutions that make a real difference in people’s homes.
Here’s what’s in it for you
- A starting salary of £18,564 which will continue to rise as you hit specific milestones during your apprenticeship.
- Once you have completed the full programme and aftercare support your salary will increase to £41,389 with bonus and add‑ons on top.
- We also offer London Weighting Allowance ranging from £4,160 to £6,240 (dependent on location) for living or starting your day within London.
- An expensed electric van for you to use for work, including an EV charge point where applicable & charge card.
