We have five placement roles available, and Facilitation Lead role is one of them.
As a Facilitation Lead, you'll ensure learning delivery is consistently aligned to business and operational needs, with a strong focus on facilitator performance, quality assurance and delivery against agreed standards. You'll manage a team of facilitators to deliver high-quality, learner-centred training across Learning and Development.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of facilitators, promoting trust, accountability and a clear focus on delivery quality and performance.
- Manage facilitator quality and performance through coaching and feedback.
- Influence stakeholders and communicate effectively across functions, working in partnership with Learner Experience and planning teams to optimise delivery and scheduling.
- Use data and analytics to inform decisions, identify performance gaps in delivery and drive improvements in learner outcomes.
- Lead teams through change with empathy and resilience.
- Ensure learning delivery meets internal quality standards & regulatory requirements.
- Manage feedback loops using facilitator insight, learner feedback and performance data.
- Promote digital and AI-enabled approaches to enhance learning impact and delivery efficiency.
Key areas of focus include:
- Learning and development strategies and facilitation best practices.
- Leadership theory and coaching models.
- Learning analytics and performance metrics.
- Coaching and capability building.
- People and performance management.
- Quality assurance and continuous improvement.
- Data-driven decision making.
- Leading training and/or L&D teams or facilitation functions.
- Delivering training, coaching, or leading capability development in operational environments: e.g.: HSE, training, engineering, financial - ideally with an understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Monitoring and improving learning delivery quality and consistency.
- Digital learning technologies, virtual delivery platforms and AI-enabled tools.
On placement you'll also have a dedicated business mentor, opportunities to meet senior leaders, and plenty of support to settle into your role.
Military Service Leavers: leaving the Forces or within the 2-year CTP window at application.
Elite Athletes: international competition experience and/or professional UK sports experience within the last three years.
Real project & transformation experience in a FTSE100 organisation.
A dedicated mentor to help you build commercial skills.
