Location: UK-based hybrid role, Occasional travel to site.
Day to day:
- Investigation skills (case handling, fact-finding).
- Security tooling familiarity - for example, insider risk or data protection controls such as Microsoft Purview, DLP, SIEM/EDR dashboards.
- Risk management know-how - exposure to frameworks such as ISO 27001/27005, NIST CSF or similar, and how control effectiveness is assessed.
- Basic privacy/compliance awareness (e.g., data minimisation, necessity/proportionality) and understanding of insider risk behaviours.
- Develop and refine processes to help build and improve insider risk workflows.
- Collaborate with risk assessments working with other analysts and stakeholders to assess risks holistically, considering behaviour, technical and contextual indicators.
- Monitor and triage insider risk alerts ensuring engagement with relevant business areas such as HR, Privacy, Legal.
What we need from you:
- Previous experience in cybersecurity, focusing on Insider Risk / DLP.
- Relevant certifications to the field of cybersecurity preferred and a strong understanding of security frameworks and standards.
- Hands-on experience with security tooling including but not limited to Microsoft Purview (DLP/Insider risk) management tooling.
- Proactive mindset and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Strong team player who is focus driven and proactive.
- Digital literacy competencies / skill.
- Safe and responsible use of AI tools, knowledge of when AI use is appropriate with strong awareness of accuracy, bias and compliance.
- Skilled in using AI to triage, classify and analyse information within Centrica policy guardrails.
- Recognises higher-risk scenarios and escalates to governance or security as needed.
- Proficiency in enterprise AI copilots, knowledge assistants and AI-enhanced productivity tools.
