An opportunity to play your part - In this exciting role, you will analyse, design, and enhance software solutions for local, networked, and cloud-based applications. Your coding expertise will support vital functions in materials management, financial management, and HRIS, among others. You will write and debug code using the latest programming technologies, ensuring our applications run smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, you'll create documentation for installation and maintenance while collaborating with users to define system requirements and implement necessary modifications.
Location: UK-based hybrid role, Occasional travel to site.
Day to day:
- Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications
- Analyses, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs
- Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
- Utilise your knowledge in business process mapping, modelling, and documentation to enhance project outcomes
- Engage with the latest Microsoft preview releases, including Dual Write and RSAT, to keep our solutions cutting-edge
- Review technical architecture deliverables during development to ensure top-notch quality and traceability of requirements
- Take overall technical responsibility for the new implementations carried out by the development team
Here's who we're looking for:
- Significant experience working with ERP platforms with demonstrable experience in Microsoft Dynamics Finance and Operations.
- Experience delivering finance and operational process implementations or enhancements.
- Strong configuration and development capability within Dynamics F&O.
- Understanding of financial processes, integrations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable system solutions.
- Degree in IT, Finance Systems, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant or equivalent relevant certification.
- Proficient in X++: Master the primary programming language for developing and customising solutions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
