Centric Talent is recruiting for a talented and experienced Yard Operative to join our client, one of the UK's leading bathroom manufacturers and retailers, based in Bolton (BL3). Supplying high-quality bathroom products to customers across the UK, our client is continuing to grow and is looking for a hardworking, reliable individual to support the day-to-day yard operations of their busy site. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a temporary to permanent position with genuine long-term career prospects within a well-established and successful business.
About the Role
As a Yard Operative, you'll play an important role in supporting the site's operations by repairing and restoring wooden pallets, loading and unloading vehicles, carrying out routine safety checks, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard. This is a hands-on role that involves working outdoors throughout the year, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy practical work and don't mind working in all weather conditions.
Duties Include
- Repairing and restoring wooden pallets using hand tools
- Inspecting pallets and carrying out routine safety checks
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a busy team to achieve daily operational targets

- Previous experience in a yard or similar environment is essential
- Experience using hand tools would be an advantage
