Location: Waltham Abbey

Salary: £33,800 per annum plus performance bonus

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 50 hours guaranteed per week, with start times between 5:00am and 7:00am

Our client is one of the UK's leading suppliers of bathroom, kitchen and plumbing products, delivering to retailers and merchants across the UK. The Role

As a Multi-Drop Van Driver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Completing between 10 and 30 scheduled deliveries per day to retailers and merchants
  • Driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle safely and professionally
  • Loading your own vehicle before departure
  • Loading and unloading products, including regular manual handling
  • Obtaining proof of delivery using photographs and relevant paperwork
  • Carrying out daily pre- and post-vehicle safety checks
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and condition of your vehicle
  • Refuelling vehicles when required
  • Reporting any vehicle defects or accidents
  • Assisting with unloading vehicles at the end of your shift
  • Providing excellent customer service at every delivery

About You

We're looking for professional, reliable drivers who take pride in their work.

  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • At least 6 months' commercial experience driving a 3.5-tonne vehicle
  • Luton van driving experience is preferred
  • No more than 6 penalty points
  • No DD, DR, CD, IN or TT endorsements
  • A good knowledge of London and the surrounding motorway network
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A good understanding of Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
  • A willingness to carry out manual handling as part of the role
