Join Our Team as a Multi-Drop Delivery Driver / Warehouse in Bolton - Temp to Perm Role - Immediate Start.
Due to continuous growth, Centric Talent is looking for skilled Multi-Drop Delivery Drivers / warehouse workers to join our esteemed client in Bolton, a prominent supplier of bathrooms and bathroom fittings in the UK.
To qualify for this role, strong prior experience in multi-drop delivery driving vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes is preferred; however, if you have experience driving smaller vans and feel confident moving to larger vehicles, our client is also open to this. A valid UK driving licence is required (no more than 6 points for minor infractions). Please note this role will also involve working in the warehouse on some occasions when there is no delivery work.
Position OverviewMulti-Drop Delivery Driver / Warehouse Operative.
Responsibilities- Conduct commercial and residential deliveries
- Manage approximately 20 deliveries each day
- Perform some long‑distance driving as required
- Operate various vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
- Engage directly with customers
- Collaborate with administrative and transport teams
- Complete necessary delivery paperwork
- Perform pre‑ and post‑vehicle checks
- Work in the warehouse as needed
This is a full‑time position (40 hours per week). Core hours Monday to Friday Shifts include: 05:00‑13:30, 05:30‑14:00, 06:00‑14:30. Flexibility is required due to the nature of the job.
Required Skills and Experience- Experience in multi‑drop van driving, up to 3.5 tonnes
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective communication with customers and team members
- Clean UK driving licence (no more than 6 points for insurance)
- Familiarity with the UK motorway network
- Ability to handle some heavy lifting due to the nature of the products
- Financial: Temporary to permanent contract, Competitive pay rate of £12.93 per hour, with overtime after 40 hours at time and a half, Abundant overtime opportunities to enhance earnings
