Purpose of role:
To provide professional, safe, and reliable transportation for the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), ensuring efficient travel throughout the UK while maintaining the highest standards of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
When not engaged in driving duties, the role will support the Senior Commercial Team in the coordination and delivery of key sales activities.
Responsibilities will include customer relationship management (CRM) administration, sales reporting, customer contact planning, account analysis, territory planning, meeting preparation, and supporting commercial projects.
The role will also provide assistance during customer visits and meetings, gaining exposure to key account management and business development activities.
This position is designed as a development opportunity for an individual with some sales, customer service, account management, or business development experience who wishes to build a long-term career in commercial sales.
Through structured development, customer exposure, and mentoring from the Commercial Leadership Team, the successful candidate will be expected to progress towards an Area Sales Manager position as their experience and capability develop.
- Executive Driver Duties
- Provide safe, professional and punctual transportation for the Chief Commercial Officer throughout the UK.
- Plan routes efficiently, considering traffic, weather and scheduling requirements.
- Maintain flexibility to support early morning starts, late finishes and occasional overnight stays.
- Ensure the executive vehicle is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, roadworthiness and presentation.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and coordinate servicing, MOTs and repairs.
- Manage travel itineraries and support the coordination of appointments and meetings where required.
- Assist with transportation of documents, materials and equipment needed for business meetings.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
- Commercial & Sales Duties
- Support the Senior Sales Team with CRM data management, customer records, opportunity tracking, and pipeline reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts, territory plans, customer reviews, and business reports.

- Prepare meeting packs, presentations, and commercial documentation.
- Support key account management activities and maintain regular contact with customers.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify commercial opportunities.
