Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct multi-drop deliveries to retail and builder merchants throughout the London area.
– Complete between 10 and 30 pre-scheduled deliveries each day.
– Verify proof of delivery through photographs and necessary documentation.
– Perform manual handling tasks.
– Load and unload items efficiently.
– Offload vehicles at the end of your shift.
– Maintain your delivery vehicle, including cleaning and refueling as needed.
– Complete accident reports when necessary.
– Conduct pre and post vehicle inspections.
Working Hours:
Our client is seeking Delivery Drivers for Monday to Friday 50 hour per week and the vans run out between 5 am – 7am —no weekend work required. Apply today to discuss your schedule. As a professional driver, you will be well-versed in WTD regulations.
About You:
– You must possess a full UK Driving License and have a minimum of 6 months of commercial driving experience. Up to 6 points on your license may be acceptable, but we cannot accept endorsements such as DD, TT, DR, CD, or IN.
– A strong knowledge of the local area and motorway networks is essential, as navigating London can be challenging. Your role is customer-facing, so effective communication with various individuals is crucial.
