Our client, a successful bespoke furniture manufacturer, is looking to recruit a number of dedicated Production Operatives to join their cabinet furniture production team at their facilities in Halifax on a temporary to permanent basis. You do need to have previous experience in this type of role (production or warehouse work), and to help you settle in, full training on your role will be given. Experience of working in a production or warehousing environment is an advantage.
What does working as a manufacturing operative entail? The role can be quite repetitive, but it is a fast-paced role so requires someone who is able to remain focused and work to the highest of standards. This job entails:
- Working on the busy production line
- Working to standard work instructions
- Working at a fast pace to set standards
- Completing quality checks on products
You must be able to read and follow detailed instructions and have a keen eye for detail whilst under a time constraint.
Working hours for manufacturing operatives:
- Monday to Friday - no weekends!
- Monday to Thursday - 06:00 - 17:00
- Friday - 06:00 - 12:00
Overtime available at enhanced rates.
