Centric Talent are currently recruiting for a Senior SEO Manager / SEO Content Strategist (German Speaking) on behalf of our client. Since 2008, they have been transforming the lives of thousands of smokers and vapers through an exceptional range of e-liquids, devices and outstanding customer service. As the business continues to grow across European markets, they are looking to appoint a commercially minded SEO professional who can take ownership of the German organic search strategy.

This is far more than a content writing role; it is an opportunity to shape the long-term SEO direction of the German website, influence wider digital strategy and play a key role in building the future German SEO content function.

Working closely with the Head of Ecommerce and wider marketing team, you will combine exceptional German copywriting skills with strategic SEO expertise to increase organic traffic, improve search rankings and maximise online conversions.

Summary of the Position

You will be responsible for developing engaging, SEO-driven content in native German while taking a strategic approach to improving the overall performance of the German website. You'll conduct website audits, identify opportunities for technical and content improvements, develop long-term SEO strategies and use data to continually optimise performance. As the German market continues to expand, you will also have the opportunity to help build and develop the German SEO content team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the long-term SEO strategy for the German website to drive sustainable organic growth.
  • Conduct regular website, content and SEO audits to identify opportunities for improvement across technical SEO, content and user experience.
  • Create high-quality, engaging content in native German across product pages, category pages, landing pages and blog articles.
  • Localise English content into natural, persuasive German while maintaining brand tone and accuracy.
  • Develop content strategies based on keyword research, competitor analysis and customer search intent.
  • Monitor SEO performance, analyse data and implement continuous improvements to increase rankings, traffic and conversions.
  • Collaborate with Ecommerce, Marketing, Design, Product and Technical teams to deliver integrated SEO campaigns.
  • Utilise SEO tools and analytics platforms to make data-led recommendations and measure success.
  • Support wider group websites with SEO best practice where required.
  • Play a key role in establishing and developing the German SEO content function, with the opportunity to recruit, mentor and lead a dedicated content team as the business grows.
