Air Export Operator
Hounslow, TW8

Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 6:00pm plus one Saturday per month

Centric Talent is currently recruiting for an experienced Air Export Operator to join our client's busy Air Operations team based at their Heathrow Gateway in Hounslow (TW8). The Role
As an Air Export Operator, you will play a key role in coordinating international export shipments, ensuring documentation is completed accurately, customs requirements are met, and customers receive a first-class service throughout the shipping process.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage air export shipments from booking through to departure
- Prepare Air Waybills (AWBs), export declarations and all required shipping documentation
- Complete and submit customs documentation in line with export regulations
- Liaise with customers, Control Towers, airlines and internal departments to provide shipment updates
- Track and monitor shipments, ensuring any issues are resolved quickly and professionally
- Maintain accurate shipment records and operational data
- Ensure compliance with customs legislation, aviation security requirements and company procedures
- Deliver excellent customer service while managing multiple shipments and deadlines
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced Air Export professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within Air Freight Export Operations
- Good understanding of export processes and customs documentation
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and solve problems efficiently
- Experience using CargoWise would be advantageous
- AVSEC (Warehouse & Transport) qualification is desirable
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Working Hours
Monday to Friday - 9:00am – 6:00pm plus one Saturday per month - 40 hours per week
