Location: Waltham Abbey

Hours: 42.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday

Salary: Circa £50,000 – £55,000 (depending on skills and experience)

Our client is renowned for supplying some of the biggest names in bathrooms – now they’re looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to take their logistics, warehousing, and customer service functions to new heights.

The Opportunity: As Operations Manager at our client’s Waltham Abbey site, you’ll oversee the seamless flow of products from warehouse to customer, ensuring every delivery is efficient, safe, timely, and profitable. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping operational processes, driving performance, and embedding best practices throughout the business.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive continuous improvements in logistics and warehouse operations
  • Collaborate closely with Warehouse Managers to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Analyse and refine operational processes to meet and exceed customer expectations
  • Develop and implement strategies for stock management, cost control, and resource optimisation
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence
  • Champion Health & Safety, ensuring full compliance and a safe working environment
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with the sales and Customer Service teams to deliver outstanding service

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven track record in warehousing, logistics, and distribution management
  • Financial and commercial acumen
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
  • Excellent people management and motivational skills
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise effectively
  • A thorough understanding of supply chain management, including Transport, Warehousing, and Logistics IT systems
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills

Key Experience & Qualifications:

  • A solid background in operations management within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Professional qualifications (Six Sigma, CPC) are a plus, but not essential
  • Experience in the bathroom or related industry is advantageous
