Centric Talent is currently recruiting for a talented Maintenance Assistant for our client located in Bolton. Our client is one of the most established names in the UK bathroom industry and truly is your "home for bathrooms". For over 30 years, our client has offered the most popular styles at affordable prices. The key to their success is simple - they have rapidly expanded into exciting new product groups to be at the forefront of the market. With over three decades of manufacturing experience, they hold extensive market knowledge and the ability to offer new products at the right price to their customers.
They are looking for an individual with some fabrication and welding experience to join their maintenance team, who fits the bill - dynamic, driven and adaptable - just like they are! Some experience welding or fabrication is essential for this role.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Supporting with general maintenance of the factory/warehouse
- Building and painting pallets
- Fabricating and welding items in the factory when needed
- General Labouring in the factory
- Adhering to all warehouse & health and safety processes
- Keeping working areas clean, tidy and safe
- Providing feedback through the correct channels where required

It is also important that you can work in line with our client's strict H&S requirements, to keep yourself, and your colleagues safe at work. Full training on all H&S requirements and each element of the job will be provided to you when you start.
Essential Skills:
- Experience Welding or Fabricating is essential for this role
- The ability to work well alone, and in a team
- Ideal candidate will have proven experience working within a Maintenance
- Previous experience building pallets would be advantageous
- Keen eye for detail is essential
- The ability to work well under pressure, in a target driven environment
- Ability to use power tools
- Good level of numeracy and literacy skills

- Monday to Friday
- 6am – 2pm
- £11.44 per hour
- Monthly pay on the 28th of the month
