If you are not a team player who does not get excited about delivering for a company and its clients, converting potential leads into paying clients, this job is not for you. If you do not want to work hard, roll up your sleeves or get job satisfaction and exposure to a wide range of HR issues – then this job is not for you!

We pride ourselves as a friendly and supportive employer, allowing you to enjoy a fulfilling career, release your potential and maximise your impact. Our strapline for clients is, “Happy People - Healthy Business” and that’s exactly how we feel about our own staff!

We continuously strive to provide outstanding customer service, and build long-lasting professional relationships, which are at the heart of all that we do. Career development and progression are avidly supported as well as promoting the latest practices and sponsoring additional training.

Our client base is varied and includes areas from Scotland to Plymouth, we also provide advice for employers who have international employees. The beauty of our business model means we can provide all of this support from the comfort and convenience of your home.

We are looking for an experienced and confident HR Consultant that can hit the ground running. You will have a positive outlook and professional manner, to demonstrate the necessary skills, experience, confidence and ability to guide our clients on key human resources processes across the wide spectrum of generalist ER from sickness, discipline and grievance, redundancies, change, TUPE, contracts and handbooks. Knowledge of Settlement Agreements is desirable, but not essential.

You will be a natural project manager who can self-manage and prioritise. You will be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines being flexible in your approach. You will be inquisitive, driven and an excellent communicator, you will need to instil confidence and demonstrate gravitas immediately, identifying appropriately risk-assessed solutions for client challenges and provide exceptionally high standards of customer service.

In addition, we would expect you to contribute to our sales and marketing strategies and campaigns and be happy to get involved in other projects and administration where required. You will already have experience with consultancy for SMEs. Experience with healthcare providers would also be advantageous. Ideally you will possess relevant experience across a range of sectors and industries – but having the right attitude and behaviours, demonstrating gravitas and understanding the law and its practical application is more important to us than the wider experience.
