Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for a Special Events Officer to join our Mass Participation and Events Team based in London.
About Us
We help vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037. Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.
The Special Events Officer is a key member of the Special Events team, supporting the planning and delivery of a range of high‑value special events that inspire, engage and thank our supporters. These events play a vital role in generating income, strengthening relationships, and stewarding some of Centrepoint’s most loyal and influential donors.
Working closely with the Senior Special Events Manager and Special Events Manager, the post holder will help to deliver both income‑generating and engagement events, ensuring each project is delivered to the highest standard. About You
- Experience supporting the delivery of successful events, ideally within a fundraising environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting the delivery of Centrepoint’s exciting special events portfolio, from planning to execution and post‑event evaluation, leading on a range of stewardship events.
- Managing event logistics such as guest list coordination, supplier liaison, venue support, and on‑the‑day event delivery.
- Ensuring supporter communications and stewardship journeys are delivered to a high standard.
- Maintaining accurate data on our CRM system, supporting GDPR compliance and best practice in data management.
- Working collaboratively with teams across Fundraising to ensure our events reflect Centrepoint’s mission and values.
- Contributing ideas and insight to help develop the events programme and grow income over time.
