We are looking for an experienced manager within Social Work to lead and manage enhanced teams in the East, including the Child Protection Team and the Permanence Lead Officer. The role involves line managing team managers, providing supervision, and leading organisational change within the Children and Families & Justice Service.
Responsibilities
- Line manage team managers responsible for enhanced teams in the East.
- Provide supervision to managers.
- Lead and manage staff through an ongoing programme of change.
- Work with partners across Children's Services to establish collaborative working and support the work of enhanced teams, including leading on Bairns Hoose.
- Support the workforce to identify need and risk, and manage it appropriately, reducing the need for multiple services and interventions within a household.
- Ensure risk is safely managed underpinned by robust assessment processes.
- Produce high quality reports, presentations and strategy.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experienced manager within Social Work, having held a management position.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and implementing change.
- Experience in leading transformational change.
- Registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
- Excellent partnership working with staff across Children and Families, Community Justice and Communities Directorate.
- Track record of innovation and creativity with risk management.
- Ability to travel within Fife.
- Eligibility to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups scheme membership and Enhanced Disclosure via Disclosure Scotland.
- Degree Level PostâGraduate Certificate or Diploma or equivalent (SCQF level 11).
Job schedule: full time.
