We are looking for a committed and organised Home Economics Auxiliary to work within the Home Economics department.
Responsibilities:
- Stock control of food and materials.
- Portioning and preparation of food for lessons.
- Assist with placing food orders on instruction of teaching staff and checking deliveries.
- Laundry within the department.
- General kitchen duties (e.g., washing up, setting up, cleaning/clearing equipment and surrounds).
Qualifications and Skills:
- Good levels of interpersonal skills and ability to provide a regular and effective service.
- Will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
