We are looking for a committed and organised Home Economics Auxiliary to work within the Home Economics department.

Responsibilities:

  • Stock control of food and materials.
  • Portioning and preparation of food for lessons.
  • Assist with placing food orders on instruction of teaching staff and checking deliveries.
  • Laundry within the department.
  • General kitchen duties (e.g., washing up, setting up, cleaning/clearing equipment and surrounds).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Good levels of interpersonal skills and ability to provide a regular and effective service.
  • Will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.

  • Salary: FC3 £25,604.23 - £26,786.83 (Pro Rata)
  • Working Pattern: 20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
