We currently have a permanent vacancy at Lochgelly High School – 7.5 hours per week, 40‑week contract, Monday to Friday 4pm – 5:30pm.

Location: Lochgelly

Contract: Permanent

Working Pattern: 7.5 Hours per week (Monday – Friday, 4:00pm‑5:30pm, 40 weeks per year)

Salary: £24,740.74 pro‑rata (annualised per 40‑week contract)

Responsibilities: This work is about ensuring pupils and staff can work in a clean and safe environment every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference.

Qualifications and Training: No previous experience is required. On‑the‑job training will be provided, working towards the Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate. You will also be required to attend an induction training day before starting in post.

Requirements: Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
