An exciting opportunity has arisen for caring, compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our care at home teams in the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership, Glenrothes Locality.
We are looking for motivated and driven individuals with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of service users in the local communities. You will be a people person who is passionate about supporting our service users to maximise their independence and remain living in their own homes. You will go home each day with a sense of achievement knowing you have made a difference to those that you support.

The Person:
- Caring, compassionate and motivated with good values and a genuine interest in providing quality care and support to service users.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with service users and their families.
- Ability to work with other Council services and partner agencies to support the effective planning and delivery of care and support within our service.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care Standards and be able to put these into practice.
- Hold or be able to work towards SVQ 2 as required by Scottish Social Services Council within the time frames set at point of registration.
As this role requires SSSC registration, you will have three months to apply for registration. If appointed, you must start your application as soon as possible, so you're registered within the required six months. If you need to achieve a qualification to maintain your SSSC membership, information will be provided if you are appointed. You must ensure you complete the qualification within the specified timeframe.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
