To provide all aspects of Skilled Labouring work for Maintenance, Property Maintenance or Contracts section to domestic and non-domestic properties ensuring that all such works are carried out in a manner that positively contributes to a high quality, responsive and cost effective service which meets Service and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
- Experience in building / construction industry / environment
- Ability to carry out all works to standard and speed reasonably expected from a Skilled Labourer
- Ability to work on housing and property maintenance works
- Ability to work on your own with minimum supervision
- Ability to interpret instructions from job tickets for material requirements
- Rational and methodical approach to work
- Ability to work from ladder and scaffold systems and access platforms
- Ability to carry out work to a high standard of workmanship, good practice and customer care
Requirements:
To be fit and healthy in order to maintain the activities outlined in the post. Fife Council Building Services Construction has a Respiratory Protective Equipment policy. The policy requires personnel working in environments where inhalation of substances harmful to health will mean a requirement to wear tight fitting protective equipment (examples of which are disposable masks). Personnel must undertake a face fitting, which will require the wearer to meet regulatory requirements as per HSG 53 Respiratory Equipment at Work (HSE Guidance).
