A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for social care worker positions to join our brand new care home Bank Hill house in Cupar. You will be involved with the transition to the new care home therefore we are looking for motivated and driven individuals with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of older people.
The successful candidate will initially be involved with supporting the service users with the move to the new care home. In addition, the successful candidate will also undertake the keyworker role; this will involve creating, monitoring, and reviewing care plans and keeping accurate records of support planning as well as ensuring the service user is being offered the opportunities, experience and the care and support within their care plan. The role will also involve promoting the service users to access opportunities in their local communities and enabling them to continue to live a meaningful life.

The Person
- Provide care and support which meets the Health and Social Care standards.
- Must be able to work with other Council services and partner agencies to support the effective planning and delivery of care and support within our service.
- You should be able to work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic and ambitious team.
- Must have or be able to work towards the required qualification SVQ 3, as required by the Scottish Social Services Council.
- Within the timeframes set at point of registration, once qualification achieved it is the person's responsibility to inform Scottish Social Services Council accordingly.
- Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
- As this role requires SSSC registration, the successful applicant will have three months to apply for registration. If appointed, you must start your application as soon as possible so you're registered within the required six months.
