You will earn a competitive salary of £25,604.23 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including:

  • We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.64 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
  • Pay is annualised (equal instalments every 4 week pay period).
  • Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland).

Responsibilities:

This work is about providing customer service, ensuring nursery pupils receive hot or cold meals every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference with the food you have served. On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate.

Qualifications:

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme. You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
