The Role
Mobile Cleaner – 20 hours per week Monday to Friday as required, 40-week contract. Working between 3:30pm to 7:30pm as required.
You will earn a competitive salary of £24,740.74 pro-rata and annualised payments with access to a range of benefits, including:
- We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour for this post, plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends.
- Travel expenses will be paid – 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car.
- Pay is 4 weekly.
- Membership of Fife Pension Fund which is part of the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS Scotland).

This work is about ensuring staff and pupils can return to a clean and safe environment every day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference. No previous experience is required as on the job training is given, working towards The Cleaning Operatives Proficiency Certificate.

- Ability to provide a regular and effective service, working alone or as part of a team.
Other Requirements
- Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
- Have the ability to travel to numerous locations within the specified area of work - a current Driving Licence is desirable.
- You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
