Working Pattern: 4 days on 4 days off (35 hours per week 07:30 β 13:00, 17:00 β 21:30, 16:00 - 22:00 and 07:00 β 13:00), various hours per week available. Relief positions also available

An exciting opportunity has arisen for caring, compassionate and enthusiastic individuals to join our care at home teams in the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership Localities. We are looking for motivated and driven individuals with good values and a genuine interest in the care and support of service users in the local communities.

The Person:
- Caring, compassionate and motivated with good values and a genuine interest in providing quality care and support to service users.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with service users and their families.
- Ability to work with other Council services and partner agencies to support the effective planning and delivery of care and support within our service.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Health and Social Care Standards and be able to put these into practice.
- Hold or be able to work towards SVQ 2 as required by Scottish Social Services Council within the time frames set at point of registration.
You are required to register with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of taking up employment in this role and to complete the required Post Registration Training and Learning (PRTL) over the first registration period.
Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
If appointed, you must start your application for SSSC registration as soon as possible, so you are registered within the required six months.
