Job Details
We are looking for a Cleaning Supervisor for St Margarets Primary School in Dunfermline. This is a permanent, 20 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 7:00pm) contract for 40 weeks per year.
Salary: FC3 £25,604.23 to £26,786.83 pro-rata (£13.64 per hour to start, with extra payments for shift work, including weekends). Pay is annualised in equal instalments every 4-week pay period.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure pupils and staff return to a clean and safe environment every school day.
- Supervise the team of cleaners.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure compliance with cleaning standards.
- Manage cleaning schedules and shift work.
Qualifications & Experience
- Holding the Cleaning Operatives Efficiency Certificate or equivalent.
- Some supervisory experience; preference for BiCs Certificate or Cleaning Operators Proficiency Certificate.
- Must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and be a member of the relevant PVG scheme before appointment.
- Required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
