Please note that whilst experience is desirable, it is not essential as training will be provided. Centred is a progressive charitable company based in the Highlands that supports people through mental ill health toward mental well-being. Our services are based in Caithness, Easter Ross, Inverness, and Lochaber. Our Centred Recovery Centre, based in Inverness, is a centre that provides support and accommodation for up to 23 service users.

We are recruiting for a Social Care Worker to join our Caithness team. This service assists individuals in the community to live independently and provides a Care at Home service.

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide person-centred support to individuals in their daily activities
  • Promote independence, choice, and wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate records and follow support plans
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and external agencies
  • Work flexibly as part of a committed team
  • Encourage independence and choice
  • Provide practical support (meal preparation, household tasks)
  • Assist with medication administration
