A multi-award-winning, independent property management business is seeking a Second-in-Command to work directly alongside the Directors in running daily operations across both commercial and residential portfolios. This is a hands-on, client-facing leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving problems rather than delegating them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a mixed commercial and residential portfolio, including rent and service charge collection
- Negotiate commercial lease renewals and rent reviews
- Oversee maintenance issues and act as escalation point for landlords, tenants, and contractors
- Support commercial lettings activity including marketing, viewings, and deal negotiation
- Ensure compliance across legal documents, deposits, and safety certification
- Provide team leadership and support day-to-day operational performance
