The Opportunity
An established and growing property business in North London is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Property Management Administrator to support its busy property management function. This role is ideal for someone with previous property administration, lettings, compliance, or office administration experience who enjoys working in a structured environment and takes pride in delivering high standards of accuracy and customer service.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting compliance processes, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks and Section 13 notices, while also assisting with tenancy administration, referencing, and general office support.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Property Management Support
- Manage and process Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks for landlords and tenants.
- Prepare and administer Section 13 rent increase notices in line with current legislation.
- Ensure compliance records are maintained accurately and updated as required.
- Assist with tenancy progression and property management administration.
- Monitor key compliance deadlines and maintain relevant documentation.
Tenancy Administration
- Coordinate tenant referencing and right-to-rent checks.
- Prepare tenancy-related documentation and correspondence.
- Liaise with tenants, landlords, and third-party providers regarding references and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records within the company's CRM and property management systems.
General Administration
- Provide administrative support to the property management team.
- Answer incoming enquiries via telephone and email.
- Manage document filing, data entry, and record keeping.
- Assist with reporting, document preparation, and ad hoc administrative projects.
- Support the wider office team as required.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
- Previous administrative experience within property, lettings, estate agency, or a professional office environment.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Desirable
- Knowledge of AML requirements within the property sector.
- Experience preparing Section 13 notices.
- Understanding of tenancy administration and referencing processes.
- Familiarity with property management or lettings software.
