The Role
Working within a team of five surveyors, you will be involved in:
- Contract administration and project delivery on refurbishment and major works projects up to £1.5m.
- Preparation of specifications, schedules of work and tender documentation.
- Capital expenditure planning and lifecycle forecasting.
- Defect diagnosis and preparation of technical reports.
- Licences to Alter.
- Party Wall matters.
- Condition surveys and planned maintenance inspections.
- Client and stakeholder liaison throughout project lifecycles.
The role offers excellent exposure across both residential and commercial assets, with genuine progression opportunities for ambitious surveyors looking to develop their careers.
The team delivers a wide variety of building surveying instructions including contract administration, development monitoring, CapEx planning, defect diagnosis, schedules of condition and party wall matters.
About You
Applicants could come from either a Building Surveyor or Senior Building Surveyor background.
You will ideally have:
- Building Surveying degree or equivalent.
- Experience delivering contract administration/project work.
- Knowledge of JCT contracts.
- Exposure to defect diagnosis and planned maintenance.

AssocRICS or MCIOB professionals.
MRICS Building Surveyors looking for a Senior Building Surveyor position.
Private practice experience is important, although candidates with a mixture of consultancy and client-side experience will also be considered. [
