A leading Asian food company in the UK is looking for a Supply Chain and Production Management Executive. This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end production processes, ensuring smooth production planning, demand analysis, and managing relationships with outsourced production companies. The role requires a keen focus on efficient production management and supply chain coordination to meet organizational goals. Understanding of Japanese culture would be advantageous.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production processes to ensure smooth operations, timely delivery, and high-quality standards.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to ensure that manufacturing targets are met efficiently and on time.
  • Perform detailed demand forecasting and analysis to determine the required production volume and material requirements.
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to meet organizational goals.
  • Manage relationships with outsourced production partners.
  • Ensure the effective management of raw materials, components, and finished goods inventory.
  • Continuously analyse and improve production and supply chain processes to enhance efficiency.

  • Experience in production management, production planning, and supply chain coordination.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • A team player, with the ability to work independently and manage workload.
  • Business level of fluency in English.
  • Some understanding of Japanese culture would be advantageous.
