A Japanese IT company is currently looking for a SAP Consultant/Digital Learning Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for supporting SAP application, dealing with SAP projects, as well as providing digital training to customers, data analysis user support, and Generative AI tool/LLM creation support. The ideal candidate should have SAP support experience and basic knowledge of software development languages, including SQL.

Responsibilities
  • SAP Application Support
  • Provide second level support professionally and efficiently with third level support
  • Troubleshoot and manage resolution of operational problems for SAP and related business applications
  • Define business requirements with end users and convey them to 3rd line support in technical language
  • Manage change process to meet business requirements working closely with 3rd line support
  • Perform technical diagnoses and fix and resolve issues either remotely or onsite at customers’ offices
  • Create and submit SAP service reports every month to customers
  • SAP Project
    • Assist in design and implementation work for customers’ SAP implementation/transition projects
    • Create/update user manual and carry out necessary trainings for users
    • Assist in creating UAT scenario for users and handle enquiries raised by users during UAT
    • Provide ‘hyper‑care’ support after system Go‑Live
    • Manage project schedule and issues raised during project period with project management tools
    • Keep close communication with all stakeholders to run projects smoothly
    • Manage off/near‑shore/3rd party vendors that work for them
  • Digital Training
    • Provide customers’ management and end‑users with IT/digital transformation related lectures onsite and remotely mainly for enhancing customers’ digital literacy covering Data analysis and Generative AI tools
    • Design and create concise training materials in documents and videos for end‑users
    • Lead planning, scheduling, and holding customers’ digital transformation training related activities
    • Motivate end users drawing their interest through following and examining trend and new features of technologies
  • Data Analysis User Support
    • Comprehend business objectives to make recommendations to create Power BI reports
    • Consult Power BI reports creation
    • Assist and optimise Datamart creation for required Power BI report
    • Come up with plans to automate business processes with MS365 tools; closely work with relevant stakeholders and implement a project
    • By reviewing the implementation, make suggestions for future projects and improve the processes
  • Generative AI tool/LLM Creation Support
    • Come up with plans to create effective and specific LLM (Large Language Model) on Microsoft platform; closely work with relevant stakeholders and implement a project
    • By reviewing the implementation, make suggestions for future projects and improve the models
  • Assist Presales Activities
    • Assist creating presales/proposal documents related with SAP and services
  • Customer Management
    • Manage customers’ requirements and wishes for both technical and non‑technical in English
    • Cooperate with our partners and provide excellent customer service
    • Report customer’s complaint or any problems to Supervisor / Line Manager immediately
  • Standard Company Policy
    • Read, understand, and comply with all company policies and procedures
    • Minimise security and quality incidents
    Ideal Candidate
    • Experience of SAP support role
    • Knowledge of SAP (FI): Certificate of SAP S/4 HANA for Financial Accounting Associates or equivalent
    • Basic knowledge and understanding of software development languages, including SQL
    • Basic knowledge of BI tools
    • Business level of English and other languages
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Accounting skills
    • Other skills: project management, documentation (for customer training and other SAP project/support related) and presentation
    • Basic knowledge of SAP SD/MM functions and operations would be advantageous
    • Knowledge of MS365 Power Platform: Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps would be advantageous
    • Some understanding of Japanese culture and Japanese language would be advantageous
