An IT/Telecom/Engineering company is currently recruiting a Sales Account Manager to work in their office in Hampshire, UK
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales in the UK and Ireland, developing existing accounts, and finding new business.
The ideal candidate should have a background in Fiber Optic sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt and work collaboratively.

SALARY: Β£50,000 β Β£55,000p. A depending on experience, plus commission and good benefits

LOCATION: Basingstoke (attendance at the office required at least once a week)
Sales Account Manager- Fibre Optic Main Responsibilities:
β Carry out delegated responsibilities from the Sales Manager to reach the overall Sales Target for UK
β Constant and highly effective communication/collaboration with Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams
β Assist with Marketing efforts such as trade shows and messaging
β Support company\’s effort to develop its presence in new market segments and geographical regions
β Support ongoing Sales efforts in consumables, test equipment, and polishing equipment
β Internal / External training of products and impart product knowledge through meetings, presentations, trainings, updates on new product development
β Provide Sales Reports, forecasts, or other materials as needed by the Sales Manager
β Travel to meet and grow customer base and support other team members
β Attend trade shows, conduct market research, and keep abreast of new technology
Sales Account Manager- Fibre Optic Ideal Candidate:
β At least 4 years of experience in Fiber Optic sales, developing territories and new business
β Proficiency in MS Office
β Strong team player, can see the overall picture, not just a βSingle Sales Eventβ
β Excellent oral and written communication skills and reading skills in English
Creativity, Innovation, Attitude and Energy are key attributes
