A Japanese entertainment company is seeking an Office Support Assistant to provide comprehensive technical and administrative support across its UK office.
This is a varied role combining IT troubleshooting, systems maintenance, and general office coordination to ensure smooth day-to-day business operations.
Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill will be advantageous.

Office Support Assistant Main Responsibilities:
Facilities & Administrative Management
• Coordinate facilities operations, including supplier management and maintenance scheduling
• Oversee security protocols, health & safety compliance, and fire safety measures
• Cover reception and related tasks (travel bookings, expenses, etc.)
• Assist in organising company events and socials
• Process and track facilities-related approvals and expenditure
• Support the Head of HR with administrative tasks
• Provide administrative support to Corporate Management Division leadership

IT Support & Technical Operations
• Deliver first-line IT support, diagnosing and resolving technical issues for staff
• Manage IT equipment lifecycle, including setup and configuration for new starters and leavers
• Oversee audio-visual systems and meeting room technical infrastructure
• Support maintenance of internal file servers, EDI connections with warehouses, and other critical IT systems
• Assist with website maintenance, updates, and content management

Office Support Assistant Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent and broad IT skills, including networking knowledge
• Strong understanding of current hardware specifications
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Business level of English
• Understanding of Japanese culture and some Japanese skill will be advantageous
