A manufacturer is currently recruiting a Junior Sales Manager to work in their Hampshire office. You will be responsible for managing customer satisfaction, acquiring new business, while maintaining good relationships with current customers. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience in B2B Sales and solid presentation skills for technical drawings. This role will involve European and world travel on a regular basis.
Responsibilities:
- Acquiring new business through effective project management and amicable negotiation of price structures and customer service levels.
- Preservation of existing customers through improved customer relationship management and fast solution of problems and requirements of customers in compliance with the company's internal QMS and official & legal regulations.
- Monitoring and maintenance of existing customers.
- Monitoring of deliveries, samples and warranty issues.
- Promotion of the company's image and effective customer care through good communication with aftermarket customers, members of the global sales team and other employees.
- Providing market information, identifying business opportunities and acquiring new business in new territories and new distributors.
- Contact point for customers; responsible for considering customer requirements about their functional areas.
- Compliance with official regulations and internal company guidelines and processes (S-TQM, EMS and QMS etc.).
- Develop realistic sales strategies, plans and budgets as part of the mid-term plan to support company goals.
- Develop and process special projects and flexible support for team members, managers and other employees.
Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrated experience in Aftermarket Sales with customer care and business acquisition, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Degree in Engineering fields is desired.
- Ability to build and nurture mutually beneficial relationships with customers.
- Strong command of verbal and written English.
- Proficient in price negotiation techniques.
- Aptitude in marketing strategies and understanding market trends.
- Analytical skills to interpret and utilize numerical data.
- Ability to understand technical projects and specifications.
- Awareness of existing market solutions in mobile thermal management.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in written and verbal German and/or French will be advantageous.
- Project Management skills are welcome.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-changing environment.
