A leading Asian food company in the UK is seeking an E-commerce Marketing Manager to join their expanding team.

Location: London (office‑based)

Type: Full‑time, Permanent

Working Hours: 9:00‑17:30, Monday‑Friday

Salary: ÂŁ30k level, depending on experience (annual)

Overview

The role involves managing and growing the online store, developing and executing B2B and B2C marketing strategies, overseeing daily operations, and driving revenue growth through sales initiatives and performance‑based planning. The position also includes hands‑on operational tasks such as order processing and inventory management when required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the online store and develop annual growth strategies
  • Drive revenue growth through sales initiatives and performance‑based planning
  • Plan and execute both B2B (small business) and B2C (household consumer) marketing and promotional strategies
  • Prepare and report performance metrics, sales data, and KPIs
  • Plan, execute, and optimise promotions, campaigns, and sales events
  • Improve e‑commerce operations using Shopify and related tools
  • Support operational tasks such as order processing and inventory management
  • Upload and manage new products, ensuring optimal product presentation
  • Improve website UX, customer journey, and conversion performance
  • Research and source new products aligned with business strategy
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard new sales agents, partners, and logistics / delivery service providers
  • Liaise with external agencies, agents, and logistics partners and manage ongoing relationships

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ professional working experience
  • Strong understanding of the UK online food and e‑commerce market
  • Hands‑on experience managing online stores, ideally using Shopify
  • Experience in e‑commerce strategy development and execution
  • Proven marketing experience, including digital marketing
  • Experience with digital advertising platforms and ad campaign management
  • Social media management experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle operational tasks
  • Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP)
  • Business‑level proficiency in both English and Japanese
  • Proactive and self‑driven, not passive
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑growing, evolving business environment
  • Data‑driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Able to work independently while collaborating with multiple stakeholders
