An IT Consultancy is currently recruiting a Japanese speaking Digital Transformation Consultant to work in their London office. You will be responsible for analysing client operations, creating transformation roadmaps, leading PoC initiatives, and acting as a liaison between clients and technology providers. The ideal candidate should have strong consulting experience, proficiency in Japanese and English, and a background in digital strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
- Analysing client operations in both Europe and Japan
- Creating transformation roadmaps aligned with business goals
- Selecting and evaluating technology solutions
- Leading PoC initiatives
- Acting as the key liaison between clients and technology providers
- Collaborate with clients in Europe and Japan to assess business needs, challenges, and opportunities for growth
- Conduct in-depth analysis of business processes, operations, and systems within the client's market to identify areas for transformation and innovation
- Undertake targeted market research and assessments to support strategic insights
- Deliver compelling value propositions and transformation roadmaps to C-level stakeholders
- Work closely with cross-functional internal and external teams to design innovative, business-driven solutions
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by offering strategic guidance, thought leadership, and insights on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
- Own and champion the digital customer experience, ensuring alignment with business objectives and user expectations
- Provide clear vision and direction to Agile delivery teams, fostering effective collaboration and execution
- Oversee end-to-end documentation to ensure smooth handovers and continuity between strategy and delivery
- Ensure final solutions are aligned with strategic business goals and deliver exceptional customer and business value
- Contribute to the growth and development consulting practice through thought leadership and development of go-to-market strategies
- Contribute to a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team
- Stay informed on emerging technologies, sharing insights that shape internal capabilities and client conversations
- Managing own workload and being able to identify when appropriate to escalate issues to management
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum of 5 years of consulting experience, ideally with a focus on digital strategy, transformation, or change management
- Business level fluency in both English and Japanese
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven success in delivering strategic and digital initiatives
- Ability to synthesize complex challenges into clear solutions
- Strong communication skills
- A client-first mindset
- Prior experience at a Big 4 or equivalent consultancy would be advantageous
- Experience with Agile methodologies and digital product ownership would be advantageous
